What does your job involve?
I look after the databases, provide backups and recovery operations. I also develop and support some production systems (CML, MMIS (partly), MMIS_DOWNSTREAM (Matrix generic representation), Rhetorik (Matrix database, EMIG reports), GIS address matching and other. Databases productivity, security upgrading and all other technical issues with DB are also my responsibility.

What do you most enjoy about your job?
Professional and friendly (in most cases) environment. I also enjoy being able to help drive the company’s progress.

What is the most challenging aspect of it?
Performing multiple tasks, with changing priorities with a working day.

Qualified, intent and well-wishing

What's the best journey you've taken?
Moscow – St. Petersburg trip by boat with my family and friends. This took 5 days and we visited a lot of very interesting places, like Kizgi and Valaam.

What uninvented gadget does the world need?
Personal time deceleration machine.
