What does your job involve?
Broadly I’m responsible for anything in the office with a plug on it (as well as delivery of products and projects to our clients). Most recently I’ve built the Financial-Clarity database and associated data loading and validation procedures.

What do you most enjoy about your job?
Facing interesting technical challenges on products that are vital to the firm’s success and which deliver clear and visible benefit to our clients.

What is the most challenging aspect of it?
Finding the time to fill in surveys from our Marketing Department.

What's the best journey you've taken?
Barcelona 1992. In the days before the likes of Easyjet and hotels.com made such things simple and mundane, UEFA gave Leeds United fans 2 days to get themselves to the Camp Nou for a Champions League replay against Stuttgart after the German team were found to have broken the rules. 3000 of us managed to make the trip, the team won the game 2-1 and we all celebrated long into the night.

What uninvented gadget does the world need?
A device to be fitted to politicians on assumption of office which forces them to make all of their pronouncements within the rules of Just A Minute.
