Mortgage Strategy Awards 2011 - Grosvenor House Hotel, 16th February

Last month Matrix Solutions attended the Mortgage Strategy Awards held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on the 16th February. The event celebrates the top people in the mortgage sector and their achievements. Our guests included representatives from the UK Mortgage industry in attendance were representatives from The Cambridge Building Society, Nationwide, Santander, The Council of Mortgage Lenders, HSBC and RBS.

The evening was deemed a huge success, with TV’s Mark Watson, who has appeared in ‘Mock the Week’ and ‘Nevermind the Buzzcocks’ hosting the event and ensuring plenty of laughs along the way.  The award presentations were interspersed with entertainment, dinner, drinks and culminating in dancing and music. Entertainment was provided by ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ 2010 winners ‘Spellbound’. All who attended had a very enjoyable evening.

Matrix sponsored the award for ‘Best Broker for Equity Release’, Age Partnership were crowned the worthy winners with Later Living and Key Retirement Solutions awarded second and third place respectively. The award was presented by Ian Beaumont, Chief Executive Officer of Matrix Solutions. Ian said “Matrix are delighted to be sponsoring the Mortgage Strategy Awards 2011, congratulations to Age Partnership and the other nominees, it is important to recognise achievement and the Mortgage Strategy Awards represents an ideal forum for this.”
